Dear all,

It is our pleasure to announce that the mandate of the 21st International Board of the International Students of History Association (ISHA) has officially started from the 1st of August onwards:

Sarah Stroobants (Leuven, Belgium), president
Sven Mörsdorf (Marburg, Germany), vice-president
Timo Vuorikivi (Helsinki, Finland), secretary
Bodil Lindberg (Turku/Abo, Finland), treasurer

With them a team of eight other officials started their mandate. We wish them all good luck and fun during their term, and are very sure they will do a great job running ISHA. The first official event where you can meet the new officials is at the 21st International Congress of Historical Sciences, taking place in Amsterdam from 22 to 28 August. There ISHA is present together with historians from all over the world to discuss history in all its facets and to promote ISHA on a global scale.

We would like to thank all of you who have been working together with us in the last year, it has been a great experience for us and for ISHA.

Yours historically,
on behalf of all officials 2009-2010,

Frerik Kampman, president 2009-2010
Elsa Mäki-Reinikka, secretary 2009-2010
Marko Smokvina, treasurer 2009-2010

ISHA Journal

Read Carnival ISHA publishes its own annual journal, called 'Carnival'. Every history student can publish an article in this journal, which is available in many university libraries and online on the ISHA website. ISHA encourages students to publish their work, letting it be reviewed by fellow students and getting feedback on their writing.
